Taylor Township2026 Paving Prject
The Municipality of Taylor Township, PA, is requesting proposals for Street Paving. The base bid includes Shoulder Base Repair, Single Seal on River Road, and Line Striping from SR 168 to Wayne Twp line. This work will be performed under one (1) general contract.
All responsible parties regularly engaged in the business of this nature, interested in making sale to the Municipality of the above, may obtain copies of the specifications for a non-refundable fee of $25.00 at the office of R.A.R. engineering group, inc., 1135 Butler Avenue, New Castle, PA 16101-4262, Telephone: (724) 652-1004 or from the ONLINE PLAN ROOM @ www.rarengineering.com .
Separate sealed proposals shall be addressed to Taylor Township Supervisors, 218 Industrial Street, West Pittsburg 16160, marked on the outside as follows:
TAYLOR TOWNSHIP – 2026 PAVING
Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid surety bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the price of the bid, which sum shall be specifically set forth in the surety bond with a reference to the specific bidding document, as a guarantee that if the proposal be accepted a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured.
The sealed proposals will be received at Taylor Township Municipal Building, 218 Industrial Street, West Pittsburg 16160 until:
12:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 4, 2026
The bids will be opened at the public meeting on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 7:30 P.M. at the Taylor Township Municipal Building, 218 Industrial Street, West Pittsburg 16160.
Taylor Township reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to make such an award as most advantageous to the Municipality. Bids may be held by the Municipality for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of opening of the bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of the bidders, prior to awarding the contract or rejecting any or all bids.
